The Church’s mission to worship God through the sacred liturgy requires leaders who are both faithful and well-trained. At Christendom College, the Institute for Liturgical Formation is designed to form those responsible for preparing and executing liturgies in parishes and dioceses.

The Program
Over a three-year cycle, the Institute offers 12 courses in liturgical studies, held during two consecutive two-week sessions during July. Courses are taught by world-class scholars and are designed to give you a deep, practical understanding of liturgical practice.

Gain hands-on experience with the texts and rituals of the Church.

We emphasize beauty in all aspects of the liturgy—from the visual to the musical—because liturgy reflects the divine.
Credentials Earned
M.A. in Theological Studies
Concentration in Sacred Liturgy
For students completing the full degree.
Graduate Certificate
in Sacred Liturgy
For students completing the full liturgy course sequence.
Cost to Attend
$6,090 (Includes: tuition—covers both sessions, 4 weeks in total; registration fee; double occupancy room; and three meals a day.) Students can save $50 if they apply by April 15. Registration deadline is June 1.
